Hello both my parents they don't fish, but they don't mind that I fish, I want to learn how to fly fish, and I guess watching it on youtube and reading about it, don't do me much unless I go out and do it, I have ask for a fly rod this christmas, so hopefully I can learn, is it hard for me to pick this up after normal fishing and what do I need other then a fly rod and the reel and line Question

Well first off, its awesome to hear that your interested in fly fishing! I am pretty new to this website but welcome! I was about your age when I first got a fly rod. I learned by just casting in my front yard and after a little bit of learing on my own then took some lessons from a local fly shop. I think it is fairly easy to learn and is so much more fun than any other kind of fishing out there. Oegon is a great place to fish so you wont have to go far. If you have any questions about how to start with casting or advice on equipment let us know.

Like Jake was saying, Oregon is a prime spot to do alot of great fishing check you private inbox, I sent you a few information on some local tackle store near your area, get involve in the local store ask questions, it is a good place to start, and feel free to ask us all about fly fishing.

Some of the owners in these stores will provide you with great info and the right gear for staters, good luck and welcome again
