New to the forum from Texas/Alaska

Hey everyone!

My name is Jake, I am 21 and my passion is fly-fishing and photography. I recently moved to College Station, TX where I am finishing college. I have spent the last 12 years growing up in Alaska and fly-fishing its amazing waters and catching beautiful fish!

I am a member of Brazos Valley Fly-Fishers and just competed in my first small tournament last weekend, the most fun I have ever had!

My favorite species of fish would have to be Trout, nothing compares to the feeling of catching a monster rainbow or brown and releasing it, only to catch it another day.

I hope to somehow find a way to make a career out of fly-fishing, if anyone has any advice on how to achieve this goal I would really appreciate it. I really enjoy listening to other people’s advice.

Also if anyone lives in Texas and wants to fish, let me know!

Welcome, glad to have you with us, I'm Paul and want to wish you a great time with us, currently alot of us are in and out and check in everyone now and then to see what is new, we are runing a few programs tand alot of the staff are working numerous position meeting demands and guidlines, but glad to have you aboard, post us some stories and get with the topics.
