New to the Forum from Oregon

Hi all,

A friend of mine who is a moderator on the site told me about the group. Looking forward to lot's of info sharing and what's happening in other locations for fly fishing around the world.

I do travel to fish some but there are still plenty of places in Oregon for me to explore. Hope to see some of you here soon.

Welocome on board, in this place we try to tell no lies.. , Oregon nice never been there bet theres some nice place to fish, we are in the process of organizing this organization stronger in the U.S, alot of our members are either European Fly Anflers or just Normal Fishermen, that can't speak english very well, except for Peter who is from Denmark, one of our moderator, but feel free to make yourself at home and post some insight for our members or stories, remember pictures prove facts..

Happpy to help anyone that comes to Oregon for a visit. I'll have to try loading some pictures on the forum. Not quite familiar with all the tools but I'll get there.

I had some good winter fishing days on the Deschutes this year. Some nice big Redsides rainbows, all nymphing. Some with indicators, some without. The whitefish spawn in January and early April so small egg patterns (sort of an egg-sucking caddis) work really well.

We're at the end of the March Brown hatch now and starting to move into stonefly season in late May-early June.

I've only fished the S. Fork of the Snake in Wyoming. I used to live in Idaho Falls for a time.
