Re: Opportunties in Denmark
Denmark is mostly about sea trout, but we have both brown trout and grayling. In the summer we have schools of mullets on the coastline, so there’s something for everybody. Come on over and I´ll give you a guided tour.

Yeah, you can give me one too Peter, since I'll be looking lost when I head over there, if you here reports of a crazy American driving around in circle on the island of Fyn looking for the coastline thats more then likely going to be me. , really looking forward to it.

I will definately keep that in mind, seems like a great place to go fishing since the country is surrounded by water, never had the chance to go to europe, if you are in Texas the offer is the same, just hit me up and I'll take you on some hot redfish action.

Rods used??
Peter, what is the typical rod used there? I assume lots of fly fishing. Any spey rods in use? They are becoming quite popular here on our large rivers.
I'll offer the same as well. If you ever get to Clearwater County, Idaho, we have fantastic trout, bass, steelhead and salmon fishing. Be happy to take you, or anyone else, that wanders up this way.

Re: Opportunties in Denmark
I can only talk for myself regarding rods, so here is what should cover you in Scandinavia.
2-4 weight for grayling fishing in lakes and rivers.
5-6 weight for large distances and hard streams.
8 weight for seatrout on the coast and pike in lakes.
Two handed rods.
7 weight 12.5 foot for small Salmon and seatrout rivers.
9 weight 14 foot for large rivers and large salmon.
This is the gear I use hope that it can be to some help
