    Carp Tactics that works

Post  Roostertail on Wed Apr 15, 2009 10:25 am

Ok, not alot of folks go out and try to catch carp now adays, but for me, it's good to take the family on an outing that beats the occasional tiny bluegills for the kids.

I know that carp will be spawning soon in my neck of the woods and I have found that using corn has acheieved great success.

has anyone tried to use anything other then corn or pursue these species on different tactics any help would surely be appreciated

I haven't pursue them with conventional method, but had tried nymphs and neon as well as egg type pattern during the spring, seems to work pretty well for me.

I have caught on size 8-10 deerhair flies floting in the middle of the water, when I´m sight fishing.
