How do you trout fish in Germany Oct 18 - Oct 24?

Post  Amy on Fri Oct 09, 2009 7:45 am

We are traveling to Germany Oct 18-24th and staying in Baiersbronn. This is about 45 minutes from Stuttgart in the Black Forest. 10 years ago I drove through the black forest and saw the little winding streams. All I could think about was my dad and how he would love to fish there. Well, I am finally taking him. The problem is I can't seem to find out WHERE WOULD STILL ALLOW FISHING IN OCTOBER? I've called over there, but no one seems to know anything or speak English well enough. I've asked them to mail me brochures with info and I get brochures with NO fishing info. I know you have to buy a license and that most waters are private and you have to pay the owner. I am desperately trying to find a little winding stream that will allow us to trout fish that late in Oct. Is there anything you can do to help? I would appreciate it so much. You can reach me via e-mail at jaac2@yahoo.com or by phone 310-740-1954.

Thanks, Amy

Hey Amy,

I'll give you a call or write you an E-mail on Monday to tell you where you could fish and even take a guide you might need it. I will talk to this guide and I'm pretty sure I can help you.

Best regards
Bjorn

15 hours before take off - Where is my newest fishing buddy Bjorn?

Post  Amy on Sat Oct 17, 2009 11:31 am

Hi Bjorn,

It's countdown time and we are all super excited here. It looks like the only day we are going to be able t go fishing in on Monday. I still hadn't heard from you on what towns offer trout fishing this time of year. Any suggestions? Would love to hear from you. If you call before Saturday at 5:30pm (PST) call my cell 310-740-1954. If you call and want to leave a message while we are on the plane, call or text my niece's phone which will work over there 360-609-0770.

Thanks,

Amy
