Ok, not alot of folks go out and try to catch carp now adays, but for me, it's good to take the family on an outing that beats the occasional tiny bluegills for the kids.

I know that carp will be spawning soon in my neck of the woods and I have found that using corn has acheieved great success.

has anyone tried to use anything other then corn or pursue these species on different tactics any help would surely be appreciated

Formerly known as the Squaw Fish, I posted a topic in relation to these fish under the misc. category, Was wondering if anyone has any idea on the tactis use for these fish and if they make any good table fair, I remember catching these fish when I was younger, but more of it out of coincidence fishing for bluegills.
